Terms of Service

IMPORTANT: By using Courieroo, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Courieroo is a technology platform that only connects customers with independent, invite-only drivers for Costco deliveries in Maryland.

We are not: a delivery service, courier, employer, or agent of drivers. We do not perform background checks or guarantee any driver’s performance, safety, or the condition of items.

2. Your Responsibilities

  • Customers: You are solely responsible for selecting, trusting, and interacting with any Driver. Vet them yourself.
  • Provide accurate information and pay the agreed offer directly to your Driver (cash, Venmo, Zelle, etc.—not through Courieroo).
  • Drivers are independent contractors responsible for their own insurance, vehicle, and taxes.

3. No Liability & Disclaimers

COURIEROO HAS NO LIABILITY FOR:

  • Driver actions, delays, loss, damage, or injury.
  • The quality, safety, or timeliness of any delivery.
  • Disputes between customers and drivers (including payment disputes).

The Service is provided "AS IS". We disclaim all warranties. In no event shall our total liability exceed the lesser of (a) the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months or (b) $100. Courieroo has no other liability.

4. Offers & Payment (off-platform)

Offer amounts in the app are a record of what you intend to pay or earn. You and your Driver settle payment yourselves outside Courieroo. We do not process cards, hold funds, or guarantee payout. Payment disputes are between you and the other user.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Do not use the Service for illegal purposes, harassment, or bad-faith misuse after matching.

6. Indemnification & Governing Law

You agree to indemnify Courieroo. These Terms are governed by Maryland law. Disputes are subject to binding arbitration in Maryland.
